Appfarm offers seamless deployment of your apps across four technical environments (Develop, Test, Staging and Production). Appfarm is a pure cloud-based platform.

Absolutely. There is no limit on how many external integrations (outbound requests to API endpoints) you can configure in your Apps or Services. All Appfarm plans come with differentiated quotas for inbound integrations through custom-defined endpoints or GraphQL.

An App is a fully customizable responsive web app composed of a user interface, data sources, and logic. Data sources provide access to the data in the shared global data model. Actions enable application flow and business logic. 

A fundamental feature of Appfarm is that there are no restrictions on application complexity in any subscription tier. It is common and recommended to create separate apps for different user groups or separate purposes. For example, a mobile app for data collection in the field and a desktop app for analysis and reporting.

Each subscription is allocated a given number of Apps, and additional Apps are available for purchase through App Bundles. The Dedicated subscription tier includes an unlimited number of Apps. Apps not deployed outside the Development environment (“Dev Only Apps”), and apps made available only for Developer users (“Config Apps” and “Admin Apps”), are not counted for billing purposes.

Of course. Apps can be restricted to internal use, opened to external registered users such as customers and suppliers, or made publicly available with unauthenticated access. Apps can be restricted based on interface (mobile, tablet, desktop) or be configured and offered on all interfaces with responsive design capabilities.

An active user is a registered user who has an authenticated session during a calendar month. Registered users without active sessions don’t count towards your subscription quota. A developer user has access to Appfarm Create and can build, edit and configure apps or services, but we do not separate between user types for billing purposes.

Guest users are visitors to apps that don’t require user authentication. There is no limit on this type of users across all subscription plans.

Additional active users are available as add-ons with significant volume-based discounts.
